Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment. All electrolysis appointments are based on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel the appointment and charge for the missed appointment.
We offer text and email confirmations for client convenience. However, the client is ultimately responsible for the appointment, whether or not the client receives a reminder.
MAKE SURE THE HAIR IS LONG ENOUGH TO BE TREATED. HAIR SHOULD BE LONG ENOUGH TO GRAB WITH TWEEZERS
Taking Tylenol or Ibuprofen up to one hour before your appointment can help with discomfort. If you choose, you can apply topical numbing cream at least 45 minutes before treatment.
Avoid stimulants like caffeine, chocolate or sugar on the day of your appointment. It can make any treatment more sensitive.
Avoid sun exposure 48 hours prior to your treatment to avoid dilation of the blood vessels.
DO NOT WASH THE TREATED AREA WITH SOAP FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS AFTER TREATMENT!
Bacteria can be transferred easily to the treated area, which can cause breakouts.
Apply an anti-bacterial ointment or cream to the treated area the night of your treatment. This will help your skin heal faster and keep out bacteria. Bacitracin, Polysporin, Neosporin, etc. Apply with clean hands
Your skin produces pigment to defend against harmful UV rays, this can result in hyper-pigmentation (dark spots). Wear sunscreen!
Do not apply makeup to the treated area for 24 hours after treatment.
Do not swim in a chlorinated pool for the first 48 hours following treatment.
