Arrive Early

Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment. All electrolysis appointments are based on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel the appointment and charge for the missed appointment.

We do offer text and email confirmations for client convenience. However, the client is ultimately responsible for the appointment, whether or not the client receives a confirmation.

Grow Your Hair Out

MAKE SURE THE HAIR IS LONG ENOUGH TO BE TREATED. HAIR SHOULD BE LONG ENOUGH TO GRAB WITH TWEEZERS

Take Some Pain Medicine and/or Apply Numbing Cream

Taking Tylenol or Ibuprofen up to one hour before your appointment can help with discomfort. If you choose, you can apply topical numbing cream at least 45 minutes before treatment.

Avoid Caffeine Before Your Treatment

Avoid stimulants like caffeine, chocolate or sugar on the day of your appointment. It can make any treatment more sensitive.

Stay out of the Sun

Avoid sun exposure 48 hours prior to your treatment to avoid dilation of the blood vessels.

Stay Hydrated

Drink plenty of water the day before, the day of and the day after the treatment. Dehydrated follicles are more difficult to treat. Hydration will also help your skin heal more quickly.

Avoid Retinol and Facials at Least 7 Days Before Treatment

No Soap

DO NOT WASH THE TREATED AREA WITH SOAP FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS AFTER TREATMENT!

Do Not Touch/Scratch The Treated Area

Bacteria can be transferred easily to the treated area, which can cause breakouts.

Antibacterial Ointments

Apply an anti-bacterial ointment or cream to the treated area the night of your treatment. This will help your skin heal faster and keep out bacteria. Bacitracin, Polysporin, Neosporin, etc. Apply with clean hands

Still Stay Out of the Sun for at least 48 hours

Your skin produces pigment to defend against harmful UV rays, this can result in hyper-pigmentation (dark spots). Wear sunscreen!

No Makeup for 24 hours

Do not apply makeup to the treated area for 24 hours after treatment.

Avoid Swimming, Saunas or Spas

Do not swim in a chlorinated pool for the first 48 hours following treatment.
